Skilled Worker Recruitment

Recruitment support for skilled trades and operational roles — the positions where a polished CV matters far less than demonstrable capability, valid certification and turning up able to do the work.

Where we focus

Sectors Built Around Practical Capability

These are the areas where NATO an workforce demand is most consistent and where certification is usually the deciding factor.

Construction

Site-based and project delivery roles across the construction cycle.

Engineering & Manufacturing

Production, maintenance and process roles in industrial settings.

Logistics & Transport

Warehousing, distribution and supply chain operations.

Hospitality

Kitchen, front-of-house and hotel operations, including seasonal demand.

How we screen

What We Check, and What We Tell You

For skilled roles, a shortlist is only useful if the employer can see what was actually verified. So we separate the two clearly.

Certification and licences What the candidate holds, which body issued it, when it was issued and whether it is still valid.

Equipment and systems The specific machinery, tools, materials or systems worked with — not a generic job title.

Safety training Site safety qualifications relevant to the destination market, and any gaps that would need closing before starting.

Availability Notice period and earliest realistic start date, stated accurately rather than optimistically.

Working language Assessed against the level the role actually needs, including any safety-critical communication.

For candidates in skilled trades

The strongest applications we receive are the most specific ones. Vague experience is impossible to match against a real requirement.

  • List the equipment, materials and standards you have worked to.
  • Include certificate numbers, issuing bodies and expiry dates.
  • State the scale of projects — site size, team size, output.
  • Be accurate about language ability. It protects you later.
  • Give a realistic earliest start date.
Candidate safety

AIRAA never asks candidates for payment in exchange for consideration for a role. Review job details and recruitment terms carefully before proceeding at any stage, and see our candidate guidance.

Tell Us What the Job Actually Involves

The more specific the requirement, the more useful the shortlist. Send us the detail and we will work from it.
